Warwick and Cicero.:.Part 6 In Which Love is the VictorWarwick and Cicero.:.Part 6 by ~Maplewolf
"Cicero!" Warwick called out the mare's name, finally spotting her in the valley below. He raced from the ridge, taking in her startled expression and considering it against his news. As he was searching for the mare, Warwick had revisited all of the past week's events, convincing himself more and more that Cicero was indeed what he was looking for. He hoped Trevalyn was right about the spirit-guide.
"Warwick?" She questioned as he drew closer, a frown eating at her beautiful face. "I thought you had gone to talk to my brother."
Doubt coursed through Warwick's veins. What if Trev was wrong? Cicero's dejected

Warwick and Cicero.:.Part 5 In Which Warwick makes a most interesting DiscoveryWarwick and Cicero.:.Part 5 by ~Maplewolf
Warwick was not surprised to find Etolie and Trevalyn together when he returned to them. Cicero had left quickly and Warwick's brain was still puzzling over why she seemed so flustered. He hoped he hadn't said anything to upset her. His day was truly looking up and he would hate for hers to have tripped and fallen over a wrong word he had spoken. The stallion would just have to believe the words of his friend when she told him she was fine.
Thoughts of Cicero were pushed from his mind as he approached his friends. The stood close together, bodies forming a bridge of warmth in the frosty

Confusion tortured her brain, poisoning her once hopeful thoughts with shame and frustration. How could she have thought that Warwick was in love with her? He was braver than she, and surly would have brought his feelings to the surface sooner. All of that time shyly holding back the words that burned at her lips every time she saw him was wasted, those feelings worthless to her now.
She shook her head violently to rid her vision

Warwick and Cicero.:.Part 3 In which there is General DisappointmentWarwick and Cicero.:.Part 3 by ~Maplewolf
"Warwick!" Trevalyn could tell there was something wrong with his friend. He hadn't been himself for a while, spending more and more time alone on long walks around the valley, even when the skies were clouded with snow. Like a nervous vanquisher he patrolled the area, searching for something he was missing or finding a way to keep something that he didn't want to lose. The tan stallion called his friend's name again, but the other stallion only responded when Trevalyn nudged him.
"Oh, sorry Trev," he replied, flicking his ear to rid it of a gentle snowflake. "What were you saying?"
